Overview

A content workflow
built for small teams

The starting point was specific: one product update still needed several rewrites before it could travel across channels. Finfold brings that preparation together while keeping the final decision with the person publishing.

My contribution

I shaped the core tasks, reorganized the workspace, and designed the bilingual, light and dark interface system. With the team, I carried confirmation, cancellation, and recovery states into the product.

    Gather

    Product context and intent

  2. 02

    Adapt

    Opening, length, structure

05

Insights & opportunities

One voice, different channels
and a human decision

01 / Less repeated briefing

Context should carry forward

Reusable brand memory and rules

02 / One source, different expressions

Make channel differences visible

Switch channels and edit each draft

03 / The final decision stays human

Make approval explicit

Review first, then hand off to publish

UI & design system

Making room
for the work that matters

Mist and graphite share the same hierarchy. Translucency sits in navigation and controls; reading surfaces remain stable.

Visual language

Soft ambient color
and clear reading surfaces

Less border weight and fewer competing accents. Space, type, and a restrained green distinguish priorities.

01 / Context design

Make brand context visible and editable

Identity, positioning, and voice live together. People can see and edit the context behind AI-generated content.

The design decision

Separate recurring context from the source for each task. Stable brand information and changing task inputs each have a clear home.

02 / Channel adaptation

One source, two different openings

Two drafts from the same saved content kit, for X and LinkedIn.

Source excerpt

Finfold helps solo founders and small teams turn one product update into platform-specific content drafts.

One product updateTwo channelsReview before publishing
𝕏X / TwitterDraft excerpt
Solo founders don’t hate writing. They hate writing the same update four different ways.
01

Open directly with the repeated work

02

Number the workflow and its limits

Short hook · Numbered thread
inLinkedInDraft excerpt
Most solo founders publish one platform and quietly abandon the rest.

Not from laziness. From arithmetic.
01

Start with the founder’s situation

02

Explain the workflow and design choices

Situational hook · Narrative structure

The structure changes by channel; the facts and review controls stay in view

Make the starting point obvious

The Agent opens with a prompt and common tasks. Supporting panels appear when needed, so the first screen stays approachable.

Keep frequent actions next to the result

Editing and copying stay within reach. Secondary controls step back so the content remains the focus.

01

Honest progress

Show elapsed time and returned outputs; let people read what is ready

02

Recovery

Keep cancellation, retry, and draft recovery within the workflow

03

Human review

Distinguish drafts, review, and publishing handoff so consequences are clear

09

Usability testing

Testing the decisions
against real tasks

We tested generation, editing, and recovery to examine key interactions and how users understood each state.

Task-based testing

TASK 01

Turn one update
into two channel drafts

Checked first actions and channel selection

TASK 02

Find a problem
and revise one draft

Checked editing controls and version understanding

TASK 03

Return after an interruption
and finish the task

Checked draft retrieval and recovery
